My great grandparents and paternal grandfather are native to S.A. County and surrounding areas. My great grandparents resided in 2 historical homes, one
in the city and the other on the Nacogdoches Hwy. My great uncle has recently refurbished a home on the tour. Most of my relatives in the GARSEE family are buried in the Thomas Cemetery. I am working on both my mother's paternal and maternal trees at one time. I think that most of my grandmother's family was from Sabine County and
Angelina County.
