People often ask where they can find free downloadable genealogy forms, such as pedigree charts and family group sheets.
You can find these forms at the Ancestors Web site:
Using forms such as these makes it easier to organize your research. Research logs (forms used to record the documents you've searched and the results) are available at Research Logs
Correspondence logs (logs for keeping a record of letters sent out for information, or letters received) are available at Correspondence Logs
Caution 1) At GenealogyLibrary.com, the 1810 census information they present transposes the male and female columns. By that I mean, the first five numbers they show are for females, the second five numbers are for male. This is contrary to the actual census reports that list the males in the first five columns and the females in the second five columns.
2) I just learned today that Broderbund's CD312, Census Index for Selected US Counties, 1800, also has the male and female columns transposed. As a result of these findings, I would consider any Broderbund products that list census reports from 1800 to 1840 to be suspect at best. Please pass this information on to your fellow researchers. An e-mail was sent to Broderbund when I found the errors in the 1810 index, I received no response. This does not make their information useless, you simply have to reverse the columns.
