Jim gave everyone a handout which included a photo of Thaddeus Hendrickson, and a letter from a fellow Civil War veteran who later served with the U.S. Army in the West. In his letter to Hendrickson, the veteran spoke of thoughts about why General Custer and his Army were massacred at the Battle of Little Bighorn.

Immediately following Jim's presentation, everyone enjoyed sampling all the various salads that were brought for our Pot Luck Salad lunch. After everyone finished eating, it was time for photos.
