Dedication of the memorial marker for Nettie Lydia Featherston was held on Saturday, June 20, 2009.  A project which started from a concerned researcher in Alabama two years ago ended with a beautiful marker to indentify Nettie and the struggles of women in the Depression/Dust Bowl era.
