There were communities all over Lubbock County with schools, churches, families, and life.  Some were so busy that it is hard to image their absence today, but the modern maps do not record them.

These are the communities we were able to document as of April, 2005.  Names were checked with census records, and the Avalanche newspaper was closely monitored for mention of the names and places.
