What is the procedure for preserving a cemetery
These are the "Seven Steps to Cemetery Preservation" according to Prof. Brooks B. Ellwood, a former STC Advisory Board Member:

Also, you should register your cemetery at the Historic Texas Cemetery Program. There is some documentation required and a fee for a marker to be placed at the cemetery site.
