Ledbetter Cemetery

LEDBETTER CEMETERY
THROCKMORTON CO.TEXAS
By Patti Pattillo

Located in Throckmorton Co.on State Hwy 283,about 3 miles north of Fort
Griffin State Park, just passed the Shackelford Co.line. Turn
west at cemetery sign. Here you will have to get out and open a gate,
as it is on private land with loose livestock. The landowner
requests that you close the gate behind you.Follow road about 1 mile.
It is a family cemetery with connections to the Ledbetter,Shelton, and
Perkins's.There are, however, about two burials that are not related to
these families.A chainlink fence surrounds the cemetery and is very
well maintained.
