Earliest Trinity County Land Grants

All these people professed their loyalty to Mexico as citizens and that they embraced the Roman Catholic faith.  Stephen F. Austin convinced the Government of Coahuila and Texas to waive Catholicism for desirable settlers coming from the United States.
