RANDOLPH/POTTS CEMETERY

This cemetery is located on private land. The abandoned Randolph Cemetery is located near Nigton, Texas. From Apple Springs, Texas, take Farm to Market road 357 to the cemetery, which is located on private property. The Randolphs were grandparents of the C. H. Crow family. According to Mrs. Elaine Lockhart in 1992, two of Mrs. Randolph’s slaves are buried in this cemetery.

You may contact the landowners through Trinity County Historical Commission, P.O. Box 123, Groveton, TX 75845, if you have any corrections, questions or information to add to this listing. For the compiled list, both Trinity County Cemeteries 1980 and the second edition Trinity County Texas Cemeteries 1992 both published by Trinity County Historical Commission (TCHC) were consulted.
