Dear Sir,
I here with transmit to you the report of the organization of a Cavalry Company in Victoria County. We report our company as an Independent Company for Coast defense, and for the defense of any port of the Coast in case of invasion or in any part of the State in case of great immergensy. We judging of that immergency, the company is composed mostly of married men, and men whose affairs will not let them go in the active service. We have employed a good drill Sergeant and we drill 4 times in a week. We ourselves the rest we can, and want to put ourselves in a high state of
