OLE OLESON

Wills Point Chronicle

November 13, 1913

DEATH OF PIONEER CITIZEN

Yesterday morning about 5 o'clock, one of the county's pioneer citizens, Ole Oleson, passed away at his home in Prairieville after an illness lasting about four weeks.

Mr. Oleson was one of the county's prominent citizens, having come here when a very small boy. He was also an ex-Confederate soldier and was a member of the Lutheran church. He was about 71 years of age and leaves a number of children, all of whom are well known in the county.

The funeral was held some time today from the Lutheran church near Prairieville at which place the body was laid to rest.-- Kaufman Post, Nov. 11, 1913
