Henry A. Wise

April 24, 1902

Henry A. Wise died at Terell Sunday night at 11:15 o'clock after a lingering illness. His remains were brought to Wills Point on the 11:26 train Monday and interred in White Rose cemetery in the afternoon, the funeral occurring from the residence of B. W. Bruce under the auspices of the Odd Fellows lodge. Several members of the order, also of the A. O. U. W., came down from Terrell. Henry Wise lived in Wills Point several years ago and was with B. W. Bruce in the drugstore. He was a fine druggist, friendly, courteous and of splindid habits and liked by all who knew him. He has been in ill health for some time and his death was not unexpected to those who knew him. He leaves a wife and one child to whom the many friends of deceased will extend their warmest sympathy.
