Early Van Zandt County Wills Van Zandt County Genealogical Society Book I Index The following is an index of a collection of early wills of Van Zandt County. Book I was microfilmed and this roll is housed at the Library of Genealogy and Local History in Canton. Those visiting the library may copy them from the microfilm for the regular copying fee of 25 cents per page. The pages are available to those who cannot visit the library by sending a check or money order for $5 to the Van Zandt County Genealogical Society, Attn: Research Librarian, P.O. Box 1388, Canton, Texas 75103. This fee covers research, copying, and mailing. Some of these records may be included in probate records listed elsewhere on this website, some may not be included. Several wills were filed by individuals living out of county or living out of state but who had ties to and/or property in Van Zandt County.
