William Paxon Bratcher also known as Uncle Bill Bratcher served in the Confederate States Army 10th Texas Calvery (dissmounted) Company A with his brother John Archelaus Bratcher. John Archelaus Bratcher was fataly wounded at the battle of Richmond Kentucky on Aug 31 1862 and actually died on Sept 2 1862.
