The Majors will perform a variety of patriotic, gospel and Presidents Message military songs at our July 28th meeting! Our very own Steve Majors, Don Majors along with Stacey Majors Hendrix are well known throughout East Texas. The group has performed
at our chapter meetings, last year's Board of Management and at the TXSSAR state convention. Welcome "The Majors" to our July meeting!

Awards to be presented

The SAR Fire Safety Award will be presented to Tyler Fire Chief Neal Franklin for outstanding accomplishments to the community. Officer Brennon Ewen of the Tyler Police Department will be recognized for his assistance at our Flag Day-Flag Retirement Ceremony and we will honor Kelly Prew, Youthful News and Food Editor of the Tyler Morning Telegraph for providing publicity for our youth contests.
