Woodmen Cemetery
Seymour, Baylor County, Texas
In 2007 Matthew Rose lead this Eagle Scout service project as a member of Troop 71 of the Northwest Texas Council of the Boys Scouts of America. The Troop is sponsored by the First United Methodist Church of Seymour, Texas. Matthew has also earned the Arrow of Light and was elected into the Order of the Arrow.
The cemetery survey was chosen as a project because there were little or no records of the burials available to genealogy researchers and family historians. We thought this project would be benificial to the community.
The survey has been provided as a service for genealogy and history researchers locally and on the web. The local organizations are:
