This cemetery was started as a burial place for employees of the Austin White Lime Co.  Virtually all of the surnames are Hispanic in origin, the only exceptions being for two members of the Robinson family.  The cemetery is well-maintained, but shows evidence that some older stones that were replaced and some concrete curbing that previously marked burials have been tossed outside the fence.  Some stones are broken, and obviously not in their original locations.  Many stones are handcarved.  Some are now unreadable.  There are many, many marked burials without headstones.
