Wilson County was organized by an act of the legislature of the State of Texas on February 13, 1860 from Karnes and Bexar counties. The county is named after James Charles Wilson, an early settler of Texas and later a state legislator.

My name is Linda Blum-Barton and I am the new county coordinator for Wilson County.   This site will be under construction for a few weeks until I can get everything you have donated back on the new site and I will be adding new items.....thanks for your patience.

If you have items to donate for Wilson County TXGenWeb, please feel free to email me...
