Nick Bermea
KERMIT — Nick Bermea, 92, of Kermit, a former truck driver, 
died Tuesday, Aug. 26, 2003, at Medical Center Hospital in Odessa. 

Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Joseph Catholic Church
 with John Lucido officiating. Burial will be at Kermit Cemetery. 
Arrangements are by Cooper Funeral Chapel.
He was born in Del Rio and was a 39-year resident of Kermit.
 He was Catholic.
SURVIVORS: Wife, Connie Bermea of Kermit; sons, Oscar Bermea
 of Kermit, Sammy Bermea of Monahans, Efren Castro of Odessa 
and Abel Castro of Big Spring; daughters, Estella Avila of Odessa 
and Peggy Barrara of Kermit; brother, Alfred Bermea of San Jose, 
Calif.; sister, Olivia Olvera of Houston; 16 grandchildren; and 
14 great-grandchildren.
