Briones, 81, of Monahans, a homemaker, died Tuesday, Sept. 30, 2003, at Odessa Regional Hospital. Rosary will be said at 7 p.m. today at Family Services Funeral Chapel. Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Friday at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Kermit. Burial will be at Kermit Cemetery. Arrangements are by Family Services Funeral Parlor. She was born in Carlsbad, N.M. SURVIVORS: Daughters, Yolanda Honesto of Morton, Erica Briones of Monahans, Gloria Armendariz of Lubbock and Irma Briones of Roswell, N.M.; sons, Mauricio Briones of Duncan, Okla., Alonzo Briones of Jal, N.M., Pablo Briones of Vernon, Ill., Edmundo Briones and Edmundo Briones Jr., both of Kermit, and Joel Briones of Odessa; sisters, Nico Lopez and Rita Perez, both of Kermit, and Lola Rios of Odessa; brothers, Raymond Valenzuela and Frank Valenzuela, both of Kermit; 49 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
