THE ODESSA AMERICAN http://www.oaoa.com http://www.oaoa.com/obit/obits090603.htm Alice Eloise Sandell ODESSA — Alice Eloise Sandell, 72, went home to be with the Lord on September 4, 2003, with her family by her side. Alice was born on February 16, 1931, in Wink, Texas. She was a lifetime resident of the Permian Basin. Alice was a member of Midessa Heights Baptist Church where she served as an adult Sunday School teacher and Treasurer for many years. She left a loving legacy of faith and hope in Jesus Christ. Alice will be greatly missed, but “to be absent from the body and to be present with the Lord,” II Cor. 5:8. Alice is preceded in death by her mother and father, JT and Myrtis Ralston, and her sister, Priscilla Poeppel. She is survived by her husband, Ralph Sandell Jr. of Odessa; son, Larry Agnew and wife, Gene, of Odessa; daughters, Terry Kirk of Midland and Tammy Hampton and husband, David, of Amarillo; brothers, Jerald Ralston and wife, Sue, of Crockett, Texas, and Mike Ralston and wife, Wanda, of Odessa; grandchildren, Priscilla McKaskle and husband, Jay, Steven Kirk and wife, Michelle, Alicia Monk and husband, Ben, Daniel and Samantha Agnew, Justin, Jeremy and Autumn Hampton; great-grandchildren, Ty, Toby and Tara McKaskle; several nieces, nephews, great nieces, and nephews, one great-great niece, a multitude of cousins, and brothers and sisters in Christ. Services will be held at Midessa Heights Baptist Church at 11 a.m. September 7, 2003. Jerald Ralston and Nick Gates will be officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to Home Hospice of Odessa. Arrangements are entrusted to Sunset Memorial Funeral Home
