Mattie Thorp
KERMIT — Mattie L. Thorp, 97, of Kermit, a homemaker, died Thursday,
 Sept. 4, 2003, at Reeves County Hospital.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Belvue Baptist Church in 
Kermit with the Rev. Mark Brewer officiating. Burial will be in 
Kermit Cemetery. Arrangements by Cooper Funeral Chapel Inc.
She was born in Burleson and a 42 year resident of Mentone. She was
 Baptist.
SURVIVORS: Nephew, Billy Hopper of Mentone; and numerous nieces 
and nephews.
