Services will be at 3 p.m. Tuesday in the Colorado High School auditorium with Rev. Monte Kreis officiating. Burial will follow in the Colorado City Cemetery under the direction of Kiker-Seale Funeral Home. Mrs. White was born Aug. 19, 1957, in Kermit, Texas, to Milton and Mildred Bell Howard and had been a resident of Colorado City for the past year and a half. She was a graduate of Wink High School, received her bachelor’s degree from Texas Tech and her master’s degree from Sul Ross and had been a teacher in several schools in West Texas. She married Jim White Dec. 29, 1978, in Wink. She was also a member of the First United Methodist Church in Colorado City. Mrs. White is survived by her husband, Jim White of Colorado City; two sons, Clay White of Lubbock and Clint White of Colorado City; one daughter, Clansy White of Colorado City; her parents, Milton and Mildred Howard of Colorado City; two sisters, Carol Morton of Stockton, Mo., and Beth Brannan of Nacogdoches; and brother, Glenn Howard of Victoria. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
