W.D. Simon

KERMIT — W.D. “Bill” Simon, 74, of Kermit, a self-employed oil lease 
operator, died Friday, April 16, 2004, at M.D. Anderson Hospital in Houston.

Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Kermit Cemetery. Arrangements
 are by Cooper Funeral Chapel.

He was a 50-year resident of Kermit. He was a veteran of both the U.S. Army 
and the U.S. Air Force.

SURVIVORS: Wife, Velda Simon of Kermit; son, Ralph D. Simon of Kermit; 
daughter, Brenda Kay McDiffitt; brothers, Bob Simon and George Simon; sister,
 Margie; four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
