Barbara Ann Trenchard

KERMIT — Barbara Ann Trenchard of Kermit, Texas, passed away on June 14, 
2004, in Houston, Texas, after a long, courageous battle with breast cancer.
 Funeral services will be held at First United Methodist Church at 2 p.m. 
June 17, 2004. Barbara was born July 18, 1952, in Odessa, Texas, and grew up 
in Andrews, Texas. She was a homemaker who was a loving wife and devoted 
mother. She freely volunteered her time to school activities and her church.
 She was a joy to be around, always full of life and a true friend to many.

She is survived by her loving family, her husband of 28 years, Bob Trenchard;
 son, Trey Trenchard; stepson, Todd Trenchard and wife, Kimberly Trenchard; 
granddaughter, Skye Trenchard; stepdaughter, Jill Trenchard; parents, J.T.
 and Maxine Jones; brothers, Michael Jones, Glenn Jones, and Doug Jones; 
sister, Elaine Garrison; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and 
nephews, as well as many good friends.

The family thanks all her friends for their support, prayers and kindness 
during her last illness and special thanks to Brenda McDiffitt, who was by 
her side giving care and comfort the last six weeks of her life in Houston. 
Also, special thanks to our minister, Beth Harrington, and to Beverly Lovell,
 who was always there for us, including caring for our home and Barbara’s 
beloved cat, Tipper, during Barbara’s treatment.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the First United Methodist 
Church of Kermit or the charity of your choice. Funeral arrangements are 
entrusted to Cooper Funeral Chapel, Kermit, Texas.
