Janet Warren


KERMIT — Janet ‘Net’ Warren, 63, of Kermit went to be with her Lord on 
Sunday, Feb. 29, 2004, at her residence in Kermit. She was born on Tuesday, 
March 5, 1940, to the late Virgie Della Carey and Ernest Roy Savage in Pampa,
 Texas.

Janet married A.J. Warren on Feb. 22, 1961, at Community Church in Kermit and
 has been longtime residents since. A devout member of Grace Temple Baptist 
Church, she loved helping other people, going to the lake and cooking out.
 She was a dedicated wife, mother and grandmother and loved spending time 
with her grandchildren.

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, Allen James ‘A.J.’ Warren 
of Kermit, Texas; one daughter, Darlene Eaton and husband, Danny, of Sonora,
 Texas; one sister, Maxine Boatwright of Kermit, Texas; one brother, Don 
Savage and wife, Marie, of St. George, Utah; one grandson, Justin Eaton and 
wife, Thea, of Austin, Texas; one granddaughter, Kara Eaton of Sonora, Texas,
 and her fiancé, Terry Chaumont, of Louisiana; brothers and sister-in-laws, 
Dorothy and Troy Colley of Odessa, Texas, Gene and Iris Warren of San Angelo
, Texas, Margaret and Bill Scudder of Kermit, Texas, Laura and Jerry Russell 
of Arlington, Texas; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her son, Craig Warren, on June 11, 1991, and her
 brother-in-law, Basil Boatwright, on Dec. 23, 2002.

Pallbearers will be James Burns, Fred Lewis, Edwin Ditto, Steve Ditto, Bob 
Burke and Bob Shipley.

Service will be held at Grace Temple Baptist Church on Tuesday, March 2, 
2004, at 1:30 p.m. with Pastor Jess Little and Pastor Gordon Oglesby 
officiating. Interment will follow at the Kermit Cemetery.

The family requests memorials be made to Grace Temple Baptist Church, 220 S.
 Olive, Kermit, TX 79745 or to Home Hospice, 516 N. Texas St., Odessa, TX 
79761.

Services are entrusted to Family Services Funeral Parlor, Kermit, Texas.
