Lois Wear


ODESSA — Lois Wear, age 84 of Andrews, passed away Thursday, Jan. 22, 2004, 
at Hospice House in Odessa.

She was born Oct. 6, 1919, in Madill, Okla., to Silas James Warnick and Ida 
Bell Husky Warnick.

Lois married Thomas Presley Wear on Jan. 18, 1941, in Ramonville, Texas. He
 preceded her in death June 11, 1965.

She was Baptist and had been a resident of Andrews since 1985. Lois retired 
from the City of Odessa, where she was employed for many years.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her daughter, Evelyn Lois Wear; two 
brothers, P.W. Warnick and Joe B. Warnick; and one sister, Aline Kilgore.

Surviving her are her nephew, Richard Warnick and wife Nora of Andrews; and 
one niece, Jo Ann Branch, also of Andrews.

Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Monday, Jan. 26, 2004, in the Kermit 
Cemetery with Chaplain Don Swindell officiating.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Cooper Funeral Chapel of Kermit.
