ODESSA — Samuel Frank Bowers, 58, of Montgomery, Ala., a truck driver and former Odessa
 resident, died Thursday, March 18, 1999, in Montgomery, Ala.

Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. today at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Arrangements by
 Melton Funeral Home of Breckenridge.

He was born in Kermit.

SURVIVORS: Wife, Hilda Stephens Bowers of Fayette, Miss.; daughters, Kathy Conard 
and Sherry Clark, both of Odessa, and Tina Ritter of Gardendale; sons, Craig Bowers of 
Odessa, Frank Bowers of San Antonio and Bobby Bowers of Iraan; mother, Doris Bowers 
of Baker, La.; sisters, Shirley Favron and Barbara Juno, both of Baker, La.; brother,
 Wayne Bowers of Las Vegas, Nev.; and 16 grandchildren.
