Apolonio Esparza

   KERMIT -- Apolonio "Polito" Rodriguez Esparza, 80, of Kermit, a retired construction worker, 
died Sunday, March 22, 1998, at Memorial Hospital and Medical Center in Midland.
   Rosary will be said at 7:30 p.m. today at Cooper Funeral Chapel. Mass will be celebrated at 
1 p.m. Wednesday at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Kermit with the Rev. Ralph Barranger 
officiating. Burial will be at the Kermit Cemetery. Arrangements by Cooper Funeral Chapel Inc.
   He was born in Buena Vista and was a lifetime resident of Kermit. He was Catholic.
   SURVIVORS: Wife, Nasaria Esparza of Kermit; sons, Apolonio V. Esparza Jr. of Monahans 
and Ray Esparza of Odessa; daughters, Gladys Mesa of Odessa, Linda Salinas and 
Blanca Kannel, both of Fort Stockton and Nancy Pedraza of Wickett; brother, 
Santos Esparza of Fort Stockton; sister, Paula Rey of Imperial; 16 grandchildren;
 and five great-grandchildren.
