Manuel Tavarez

KERMIT - Manuel Tavarez, 69, died Saturday, Oct. 2, 1999, in a local hospital.

Graveside service will be at 2 p.m. today in Kermit Cemetery. Arrangements are by 
Cooper Funeral Chapel.

He was born Dec. 10, 1929, in Ojinaga, Mexico, and had been a resident of Kermit for
 45 years. He worked as a laborer for Winkler County and was a Catholic.

Survivors include three brothers, Frederico Tavarez of Wink, Concepcion Tavarez of Kermit 
and Martin Tavarez of Lovington, N.M.; and two sisters, Maria Elia Berzoza of Kermit and 
Merced Marin of Odessa.
