Jimmy Tye

KERMIT - F.C. ``Jimmy'' Tye, 90, of Kermit died Monday, Nov. 18, 1996, in a local hospital.

Service will be at 2 p.m. today at the First United Methodist Church with burial in 
Kermit Cemetery. Arrangements are by Cooper Funeral Chapels.

He was born Nov. 19, 1905, in Merkel and had lived in Kermit for 60 years.
 A Navy veteran, he was a retired pumper and a member of Kermit Masonic Lodge 1258, 
Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 6284 and Kermit Order of the Eastern Star 845.
 He was a charter member of the Kermit Volunteer Fire Department.

Survivors include his wife, Esta Lee Tye of Kermit; and a sister, Florence Moses of Dallas, Ore.
