KERMIT - Katherine ``Kate'' Woods, 68, of Kermit died Tuesday, Dec. 10, 1996, in a 
Midland hospital.

Service will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Belvue Baptist Church with burial in Kermit Cemetery.
Arrangements are by Copper Funeral Chapel.

She was born July 7, 1928, in Midland and had been a resident of Kermit for 42 years.
 She was a newspaper carrier for the Odessa American and the San Angelo Standard-Times.

Survivors include a daughter, Diana Gail Keathly of Springfield, Mo.; a son, Ronny Lee Woods
 of Kermit; two brothers, Elmo Anderson of Loraine and George Anderson of Midland; 
a sister, Faye Wilson of Brownwood; eight grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
