THE SAN ANGELO TIMES October 14, 1997 Leslie Bishop KERMIT - Leslie Dale Bishop, 74, died Friday, Oct. 17, 1997, in Kermit. Service will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Eastside Church of Christ with burial in Kermit Cemetery. Arrangements are by Cooper Funeral Chapel. He was born May 15, 1923, in Bonham and was a longtime resident of Kermit. An Army veteran, he was a mechanic for Chevron Pipeline Co. and was a member of Eastside Church of Christ. Survivors include his wife, Nelda Jean Bishop of Kermit; a son, James Charley Bishop of Midland; two daughters, Debbie Kay Hendrickson of Lago Vista and Jeana Lee Beaty of Aztec, N.M.; three sisters, Alice Mae Walling of Wink, Hazel Tressie Simpson of Snyder and Neva Lucille Hardaway of Monahans; and six grandchildren.
