KERMIT - J.W. Seales, 68, of Midland died Monday, Sept. 8, 1997, in an Odessa medical center.

Service will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at the First United Methodist Church with burial in
 Kermit Cemetery. Arrangements are by Cooper Funeral Chapel.
He was born April 28, 1929, in Bloomburg and had been a longtime resident of Kermit. 
He was a self-employed drilling consultant and a member of the First United Methodist 
Church and the Masonic Lodge.
Survivors include his wife, Juanita Seales of Midland; two sons, Teddy Seales of 
Midland and Jody Seales of Lubbock; two daughters, Debbie Baremore of Kermit
 and Cindy Ward of Hobbs, N.M.; four brothers, Russell Seales of Columbus, 
Bobby Seales of Willis, Bill Seales of Arlington and Dewayne Seales of Houston;
 two sisters, Carol McCaskill of Arlington and Jo Ann Harrison of Houston; 
five grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
