Basil Boatwright
KERMIT — Basil M. Boatwright Sr., 72, of Kermit, a retired plant 
operator, died Monday, Dec. 23, 2002, at Medical Center Hospital.
Services will be at 2 p.m. today at Grace Temple Baptist Church with 
Gordon Oglesby officiating. Burial will be at Kermit Cemetery. 
Arrangements by Cooper Funeral Chapel. 
He was born in Camp Springs. He was an Army veteran. 
SURVIVORS: Wife, Maxine Boatwright of Kermit; son, Basil Boatwright 
Jr. of Midland; daughter, Della King of Kermit; four grandchildren; 
and two great-grandchildren.
