Edmond Bennett

ODESSA — Edmond “Pappy” David Bennett, 83, of Odessa, a heavy 
equipment mechanic, died Friday, Dec. 12, 2003, at Medical Center
 Hospital.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Hubbard-Kelly Chapel with 
the Rev. Don Bennett officiating. Burial will follow at the 
Kermit Cemetery in Kermit. Arrange-ments by Hubbard-Kelly 
Funeral Home.
He was born in Edmond, Okla. He was a U.S. Army veteran. 
He was Baptist.
SURVIVORS: Son, David A. Bennett of Canyon; daughter,
 Bea Barber of Notrees; brothers, Don Bennett of Fort Stockton
 and Dwayne Bennett of Amarillo; sister, Ruth Humphrey of 
Riley, N.C.; six grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
