L.L. Strawberry Deaton

KERMIT — L.L. “Strawberry” Deaton, 95, of Kermit, a retiree of Union Oil, died Monday, Oct. 11, 2004, in Brownsville. 
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. today at Kermit Cemetery. Arrangements are by Family Services Funeral Parlor. 
He was born in Chicota. 
SURVIVORS: Son, Jon Grady Deaton of Brownsville; daughter, Leta Gay Roden of Salado; four grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
