Billie Edward Williams Billie Edward Williams of Castor, Louisiana passed away September 8, 2005 at the age of 99. He was born in Louisiana on August 31, 1906. He adventured to West Texas at the start of the oil boom. He was hired by Gulf Oil in Crane, Texas eventually being sent to Wink, Texas and then to the Gulf Oil Camp North of Kermit. He finished his career in Kermit retiring in 1968. His friends will remember him as "Wild Willie", his love of fishing , and the fish fry dinners he and Nancy hosted for their many friends. He left Kermit in 1973 returning to his childhood roots in Castor, Louisiana. He was proceeded in death by Nancy who passed in 2001. He is survived by two daughters, Jo Ann Bradshaw of Grand Prairie, Texas and Glenda Hockersmith of Porter, Texas. One son Eddie Williams of Castor, Louisiana and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Services will be held at Old Saline Church, Saline, Louisiana. September 11, 2005. In lieu of flowers the family request donations by sent to High Sky Children's Home in Midland, Texas.
