KERMIT — Oma Bates, 88, of Kermit, a homemaker, died Thursday, June 24, 1999, 
at her residence.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. today at Kermit Cemetery with the
 Rev. Johnny Lee Jr. officiating. Arrangements by Cooper Funeral Chapel.
She was born in Utica, Kan., and was a resident of Kermit for 32 years. She was Baptist.
 SURVIVORS: Son, Billy Bates of Oklahoma City; daughters, Betty Johnson of Kermit 
and Sue Henson of Odessa; sister, Edith Lang of Dighton, Kan.; nine grandchildren;
 and 11 great-grandchildren.
