John Briggs
KERMIT _ John Golden Briggs, 90, of Kermit, a retired plumbing business owner,
 died Saturday, Jan. 31, 1998, in the Kermit hospital.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, Feb. 2, 1998, at Kermit Community Church 
with the Rev. Henry O. Freand officiating. Burial will be at Kermit Cemetery. 
Arrangements by Cooper Funeral Home.
He was born in Kosse and was 61-year resident of Kermit. 
He was a member of Kermit Community Church.
SURVIVORS: Son, John F. Briggs of Odessa; daughter, Evelyn Briggs Martin of Arlington; 
sister, Inez Briggs of Marlin; six grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and 
one great-great grandchild.
