Melvin Eastman
KERMIT — Melvin Eastman, 73, of Wink, a retired service manager for Glenn Farmer, 
died Monday, March 20, 2000, at Winkler County Memorial Hospital.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Kermit Cemetery with the Rev. 
Gary Redwine officiating. Arrangements by Cooper Funeral Chapel Inc. 
He was born in Fredonia. He was a Navy veteran of World War II. He was a member 
of First Christian Church.
SURVIVORS: Wife, Faye Eastman of Wink; two daughters,
 Yvonne Whitehead of Kermit and Carline Hawkins of Wink; 
two sisters, Lucille Lytle of Lawrenceburg Ind., and Mae Boyer of Littleton, Colo.;
 eight grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
