KERMIT — Edith Phillips, 70, of Kermit, a homemaker, died Sunday, May 14, 2000, 
at Medical Center Hospital.

Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. today at Kermit Cemetery with Russ Smith Sr. 
officiating. Arrangements by Cooper Funeral Chapel.

She was born in Chandler, Okla., and had been a resident of Kermit for 41 years.

SURVIVORS: Son, John W. Phillips of Kermit; daughters, Melody Salmons of Bandera 
and Vicky Fason of Kermit; sisters, Lee Cadenhead of Stephenville, Millie Wert of Eufaula,
 Okla., and Ruth Ryan of Davenport, Okla.; seven grandchildren; 
and three great-grandchildren.
