KERMIT— Rafael Pineda, Sr., 54, of Kermit, a laborer, died Saturday, Oct. 9, at his home.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 2 p.m. Tuesday at
 St. Joseph Catholic Church with the Rev. John Lucido officiating.
 Rosary will be said at St. Joseph Catholic Church at 7 p.m. Monday.
 Burial will be at Kermit Cemetery.
He was born in El Mulato, Mexico. He was Catholic. 
SURVIVORS: Wife, Tomasa Pineda of Kermit;
 two sons, Daniel Pineda of Houston and Rafael Pineda Jr. of Amarillo; 
three daughters, Sandra Olivas, Diana Pineda and Nancy Pineda, all of Kermit; 
father, Demetrio Pineda Sr.; six brothers, Trinidad Pineda, Rosalio Pineda, Jose Pineda,
 Faustino Pineda, Demetrio Pineda Jr. and Pedro Pineda, all of Kermit; 
five sisters, Antonia Pando and Petra Sepeda, both of Kermit, 
Juana Rodriguez of Redford, Elpidia LaParra of Midland and Maria Olvera of Marathon; 
and five grandchildren.
