Ernie Savage 
  KERMIT — Ernie Savage, 87, of Kermit, a retired pumper, died Saturday, Aug. 15, 1998,
 at Medical Center Hospital. 
  Services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Grace Temple Baptist Church with the 
Rev. Johnny Lee, Jr. officiating. Burial will be at Kermit Cemetery. 
Arrangements by Cooper Funeral Chapel. 
  He was born in Ceaderville, Kan. 
  SURVIVORS: Daughters, Maxine Boatwright and Janet Warren of Kermit; 
son, Donald Savage of Saint Paula, Calif.; sisters, Lorena Gabril of Odessa and
 Ruby Pearcy of San Antonio; seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
