Martha Thompson
   KERMIT -- Martha Thompson, 71, of Kermit, a homemaker, died Wednesday, Feb. 25, 1998,
 at her residence.
   Services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Eastside Church of Christ with
 Jodie Garrett officiating. Burial will be at Kermit Cemetery. 
Arrangements by Cooper Funeral Chapel Inc.
   She was born in Brownfield and was a resident of Kermit for 34 years.
   SURVIVORS: Husband, Jeff Thompson of Kermit; son, Don Thompson of Kermit; 
daughters, Rebecca Jones of San Antonio, Ida Beth Armstrong of Odessa,
 Emily McElveen of Crane; sister, Ruby Lawson of Sinton; and eight grandchidlren.
