Jesus Urias

KERMIT — Jesus C. Urias, 81, of Kermit, a retired carpenter, died Sunday, Oct. 1, 2000, 
at Winkler County Memorial Hospital in Kermit.

Services will be at 2 p.m. today at 212 S. Mulberry St. with Gonzalo Lujan officiating.
 Burial will be at the Kermit Cemetery. Arrangements by Cooper Funeral Chapel.

He was born in Redford and had been a resident of Kermit for 25 years. He was a Marine.
 He was a member of the Church of Christ.

SURVIVORS: Wife, Jesus V. Urias of Kermit; sons, Jose Urias and Jesus Urias Jr., 
both of Odessa, Mario Urias, Juan Urias and Manuel H. Urias, all of Kermit; daughter,
Socorro Pantoja of Presidio, Rosario Lujan of Odessa, Marisol Armendariz and Elizama Juarez,
 both of Kermit; brothers, Bernabe Urias of Lubbock and Liborio Catano of Odessa; sister, 
Celia Catano of Marfa; 26 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren
