Van Ward

KERMIT _ Van S. Ward, 88, of Kermit, a gang pusher for Exxon, died Wednesday, Jan. 7, 1998, at Medical Center Hospital.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Belvue Baptist Church with the Revs. Bobby Braswell and Dr. Randy Houston officiating. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in Saint Jo. Arrangements by Cooper Funeral Chapel.

He was born in Oklahoma and had been a resident of Kermit for 47 years. He was an Army veteran of World War II.

SURVIVORS: Wife, Ruth O'Neal Ward of Kermit; brother, William Ritchie of Gainesville; and sister, Connie Sanders of Gainesville.
