MURDER CASE

             SUSPECT HELD

Mack McGrew, who according to Sheriff Reeder Webb, is implicated in the hijacking and murder of a druggist at Amarillo, about two months ago, was arrested in Wink, Tuesday morning and is held in the Ector county jail.

The arrest was made by jack Degraftenreid, Texas Ranger, and Sheriff Dyer, of Barstow, who brought the prisoner to Odessa, where he will be held pending the arrival of a deputy from Amarillo.

Roy Williams, who is now under federal bond on the charge of having in his possession a stolen automobile, is another suspect in the hijacking and murder case, according to Sheriff Webb. Williams was arrested in Odessa recently in the auto case, and was turned over to federal authorities. He is now being held at Amarillo.
