The Old Hall Dobby -
A genuine ghost story about a dobby of widespread local fame, which
haunted the Old Hall, a farmhouse on the outskirts of Ulverston. The farm
originally formed part of the estate belonging to Conishead Priory.
Tradition states that a lady once visited the neighbourhood and put forward
a claim to the property of which she declared she had wrongly been deprived.
It was said she belonged to the DODDING family from Scotland.
But she disappeared in a sudden and strange manner......
