The KSGenWeb Archives Project makes no
claims or estimates of the validity of the information submitted and reminds you that each new
piece of information must be researched and proved or disproved by weight of evidence. It is
always best to consult the original material for verification.
The Archives provides you with free access to these files. The files have been donated by
other researchers, such as yourself. Please do not send queries here, they will not be answered.
We do not do private research, look-ups, answer family or county queries here at the archives. If
you have a query, please....contact the county
host. There you can find a list of all the county coordinators and links to the individual county pages.
Check these pages out they all have wonderful information to help you in your research!

SUBMISSION FORMS:
These forms at http://www.poppet.org/ksfiles/
allow you to type your record and submit it.
This will create a file in a format acceptable for ks-arc and ready for posting.
These forms are not mandatory and if you have data already typed please send it in text
format to the Archives File Manager. Copies of the information will be sent to the
KS-FOOTSTEPS-L list.
Note for AOL users:
If you are using the internal AOL web browser, you may at times be unable to access these
files due to high traffic. You can also access them by FTP. To do so go to keyword FTP, hit
the go to FTP button, click the Other Site button and enter
files.usgwarchives.net/ks/ and make sure that the 'ask for login and password'
box is NOT checked. You can then browse the directories which are organized by county.
